Summary:According to the World Health Organization (WHO), nutritional status, is the physical condition of a person, as a result of the balance between their needs and the intake of energy and nutrients. Likewise, is defined in the style of life as the interaction between the conditions of life in a broad sense and individual patterns of conduct determined by sociocultural factors and personal characteristics. This research is of a descriptive, type that perceived as an objective to determine the relationship of the nutritional status with the lifestyles of the students of Clinical Psychology in the area of human health from the National University of Loja. The population was composed of 119 students, including a high percentage corresponds to the feminine sex. It was applied a survey which inquired about three main elements of the style of life as: diet, exercise, and sleep. The results indicate that students who have a Body Mass Index within the normal range your lifestyle is suitable in regard to food physical exercise and sleep; however one third of the population have an inadequate style of life and problems of malnutrition, such as: low weight, on weight and obesity.
