Sumari:For this project, it was necessary to carry out the research for the implementation of a cultural center artisan Otavalo, where give to know the development of native handicraft sector, showing in this way promote cultural rescue and the revaluation of the handmade crafts, by means of an appropriate infrastructure that helps tourists learn the process of creating new sources of work, helping to energizing local tourism, with a product that will be welcome in the national and foreign tourists, where cultural knowledge shall be transmitted will be promoted and they will be part of the process of creations of the crafts , to make a place of stay of Otavalo. According to research generated four chapters for the application of different methods in the first chapter we used the historical method- logical ,second chapter analytical- synthetic, and third chapter was used inductive-deductive and fourth was analyzed the impacts will have considering the positive and negative aspect of the project, this way we used the techniques of collecting data through surveys using the instruments of documents, questionnaires and observation sheets, for proper development. The main beneficiarieswill be the inhabitantsof Canton,who living in this sector,especially the youngwho are the heirsof this wonderfulancient culture, thus allowing be to keepalive the traditionsof his peopleto provide betterquality service while preserving their ethnic origin.
