Sažetak:This research work arises from the need to verify the incidence of the use of didactic resources in the student's academic performance. This problem concerns parents, directors, teachers, and students aware of the low performance observed in Educational institutions. The applied methodology was: correlational and explanatory. The data obtained through a survey let analyze the causes of poor academic performance and how this affected the teaching-learning process. The information data is documentary and field with a quantitative and qualitative mixed approach. The data were processed, with the help of the SPSS statistical software, to obtain results and perform the respective analysis. The findings show that the students did not learn adequately since educational resources were limited. Finally, using the chi-square test, it was possible to accept the alternative hypothesis, which confirms that the independent variable is related to the dependent variable, with a margin of error of 0.5. In conclusion, using diverse didactic resources in the teaching-learning process is essential. It gives better academic performance and awakes students' motivation and interest in acquiring new knowledge; Finally, the hope is that this investigative work will be a guideline for future research for the benefit of educational actors.
