Sumari:This document develops an investigation in the Guachalá Middle of the World Educational Unit, around school dropout in a pandemic due to poor control of the parents of the second-year high school students. The methodology has a qualitative approach to analyze the responses of the survey sent to students through Google forms digital platforms, bibliographies and documentation of various authors are also analyzed and it is quantitative because it collects real data from the investigated population; a questionnaire with 36 questions is sent to 74 students and the observation of these results is through descriptive statistical tables. It can be indicated that the results obtained in this research are several warning indicators that can be considered with respect to school dropout, the lack of communication that exists within homes, economic problems, not having technological equipment to access virtual education. it can also show that teachers do not have adequate training in the computer field and with new technologies, according to the parametric statistical analysis we can indicate that Spearman's correlation was used and the result of chi square gives us a result of .000 approving our alternative hypothesis (Ha). The conclusions of the research help us to determine that there must be support from professionals in the field of psychology, in addition to the fact that educational institutions must build spaces for the accompaniment of students and parents, making them aware of the importance of development. of the study in their children, supporting them with face-to-face and practical workshops are aimed at promoting the thought of improvement in parents and children, in addition to having continuous training of teachers in the computer field in this way improve the environment of virtual classes, in search to change the reality of school dropout.
