| Sumario: | Otavalo is a tourist site visited by tourists from different parts of the world, for the culture, crafts, and textiles that are exhibited in the famous handicraft market in the Plaza de los Ponchos, one of the largest in Latin America. It is also surrounded by exuberant mountains, rivers, waterfalls, lakes and lagoons. It is a must-see destination for national and foreign tourists, which has allowed to the creation of establishments that have relation to the tourism industry. In this case the primary business is related to the area of food, drinks and entertainment. In the city there is a great variety of entertainment centers, but they do not have adequate infrastructure, the supply has been limited to provide the same, and not to offer something different and worse with cultural themes and exclusive for tourists. Identifying the necessary the implementation of a night time recreation center, and I propose the creation of a cultural Bar called TUPARINA with Otavalo identity. This will be located at the streets of Sucre and Quiroga, considering that it is a very commercial site. It is focused on a market segment in a range of age that goes from 18 years onwards, including both community members and visitors to the sector. The main objective of the proposal is to undertake an innovative business focused on developing a potentially attractive market that provides the visitor an alternative night of fun in an environment surrounded by culture and Otavalo identity. The bar will be characterized physically by the rustic interior design with decorations of photographs showing the customs and traditions of the Indigenous Peoples as well as the natural environment that has the city of Otavalo offers. It is important to note that this work has been carried out with the respective economic and financial analysis. All the studies and research were validated through the indicators of the cash flow as the TIR which is 53% and the VAN of 24,551.22 USD. The investment is totally feasible and can contribute, with other developments of the tourism sector of the city, by generating new jobs. |
