Guía de Seguridad Turística para los establecimientos de hostelería y restauración del Cantón Otavalo, Provincia de Imbabura, Ecuador.

Tourism has become the socioeconomic activity fastest growing in the world, this also influences the results of other sectors such as marketing and production well in an increase in the quality of services through security, is protection for tourists and employees, so care infrastructure. The town of Otavalo, surrounded by mountain ranges, Andean valleys, lakes, waterfalls, can offer a variety of tourist activities; this Andean valley is home to the indigenous ethnic Kichwa Otavalo, famous for its textile and commercial skills, characteristics that have in the largest indigenous market in South America. The Plaza de Ponchos or Plaza Centenario, is a site of confluence where people from all over the world come to admire the diversity and artisanal and commercial skill, which is located in the urban area of the city, where thousands of concentrate artisans and merchants who go out every day of the week to exhibit their crafts, especially on Wednesdays and Saturdays that the fair is located in the main streets of the city streets, this hotel establishments and restaurants that allow also add strengthening of this activity, the supply of these facilities is large, for all kinds of tourists throughout the canton of Otavalo and prices to choose from. This thesis project called Safety Guide tourist facilities and catering Canton Otavalo, it seeks to strengthen tourism in the city in order to declare Otavalo as a safe destination. It's an interesting new proposal because safety is paramount in all aspects of being human. The purpose is to provide quality services with greater security and sundry and thus promote Otavalo nationally and internationally. The tour guide security constitutes a support for activities to do accommodation and food, and involves all those who generate these services. The method logy development for the realization of this project wasthe inductive-deductive method and collecting data, also the analytic-synthetic method like the logical-historical.
