Summary:In this academic article whose objective is to determine how active learning techniques influence the teaching-learning process in the virtual modality. The problem to be analyzed shows that the absence of teaching-learning techniques, the same ones that have delayed student learning. The methodology corresponds to a descriptive and field investigation, demonstrating the same with a quantitative approach, the collection of information is carried out to verify the hypothesis through a numerical measurement and its respective statistical analysis. The findings and discoveries found in the research students show that there is a delay in their learning due to the partial absence of active learning techniques since studentsare not familiar with technological equipment and the management of educational platformsIn summary, the surveys applied to the student population through the results of the chi squatest or hypothesis testing, the same that allow rejecting the null hypothesis Ho and accepting the alternative hypothesis Ha proposed in the research, active learning techniques influence the teaching-learning process because the margin of error is within the range of 5%. According to the SPSS program, concluding that it is advisable to apply new technological tools and educational platforms to improve knowledge and the teaching-learning process in students.
