Necesidades, capacidades y habilidades de las personas privadas de la libertad.

Establishing the parameters of the needs, capabilities and abilities of persons deprived of liberty, in order to achieve rehabilitation and social reintegration once their sentence has been completed, allows us to delve into the study of the projection of constitutionally enshrined rights that seek protection. and guarantee of fundamental human rights to persons deprived of liberty in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador, the Comprehensive Organic Criminal Code, and other regulations that address issues related to the national social rehabilitation system. An ideal state of the situation of persons deprived of liberty that takes into account their needs, capacities and abilities, requires the elaboration of treatment plans by personalized axes. In this sense, the general objective of this research article is to develop an analysis of the parameters to establish the needs, capacities and abilities of persons deprived of liberty in order to stimulate their will to live according to the law, work and respect to others. The study method used has been the documentary analysis, which has allowed establishing considerations around rehabilitation with a view to the social reintegration of people deprived of liberty, and avoiding recidivism, with adequate education in prisons and state policies.
