Plan de acción para la promoción de los derechos sexuales y reproductivos en adolescentes

This research work aimed to develop an action plan for the promotion of sexual and reproductive rights in adolescents of the educational unit San Agustín de Cajas 2018. This research work was conducted with the purpose of determining whether or not there is a violation of the rights of adolescents to receive timely and technical information on sexual and reproductive health. Within the theoretical framework, the importance of information on sexual and reproductive rights at national and international level was analyzed through legislation, international treaties and public policy. To understand and describe how teachers arrive with information to adolescents, a field investigation was conducted regarding the knowledge that sexual and reproductive health have on second and third year students of the San Agustín de Cajas Educational Unit . To this end, data collection instruments were applied, such as the survey of adolescents and interviews with teachers, authorities and experts on the subject. It was determined that the information transmitted by teachers about sexual and reproductive rights is not enough and in this way their rights are violated.
