| Summary: | The objective of this research was to establish the evaluation techniques and instruments and their impact on the teaching-learning process of Natural Sciences. In the study problem, the little knowledge of evaluation techniques and instruments in the teaching process of Natural Sciences was evidenced, which affects the way teachers evaluate. This research had a nonexperimental design, a quantitative approach and type, an explanatory descriptive level, so the data collection instrument was a survey, whose results allowed testing the hypothesis through numerical measurement and statistical analysis with the use of SPSS software. Regarding the findings, it was determined that the evaluation techniques and instruments represent one of the most important elements of the teaching-learning process; At the same time, it was evidenced that teachers do not use specific evaluation techniques and instruments for the area of Natural Sciences. Regarding the statistical process, reliability tests, factor analysis, normality test, Pearson's correlation and cross tables were applied, which allowed rejecting the null hypothesis and accepting alternative hypotheses, where it was stated that the techniques and instruments do affect In the teaching-learning process of Natural Sciences, it was also possible to conclude that they have characteristics of a traditionalist type, as well as of a contemporary type, it is recommended to use this study for future research related to the subject under investigation. |
