Sumari:The objective of this research was to strengthen the teaching-learning techniques of General Basic Education (EGB) teachers, based on an analysis of student performance, in order to strengthen academic performance in students with Special Educational Needs with Attention Deficit Disorder without Hyperactivity Disorder (ADD). In the Unidad Educativa Particular Electrónico Pichincha (CEP), adequate techniques have not been applied to help improve learning and address the low academic performance of children with ADD. For this reason, the interview technique was used, and at the same time, a guideline instrument was elaborated and validated through the judgment of an expert. The population was 185 representatives of the educational community and a quantitative sample of 45 was taken. After a rigorous analysis of each of the blocks previously mentioned, it was possible to identify that there is a high argumentative percentage of lack of knowledge and use of teaching-learning techniques in GBS teachers. In conclusion, it is determined that the application of inadequate techniques and tools in the classroom where there are children with SEN, ADD. They have serious results during the training process with a view to a meaningful knowledge construction in the student, as a result getting to obtain a low academic performance, same that leads to a loss of school year and the separation of students from the educational establishment. Consequently, leaving the quality of education devoid of techniques and resources.
