Zusammenfassung:The research work was carried out at the Manglaralto practice center, belonging to the Santa Elena Peninsula State University; during the period from October 2016 to January 2017. The agronomic behavior of soybean genotypes that were selected from the variety of INIAP 307 was evaluated. For the experiment, descriptive statistics were used, by frequency distribution and frequency histograms. The variables evaluated were germination, flowering and harvest days, plant height, pods per plant and yield; the crop management was carried out according to INIAP recommendations, except the harvest, which had an effect on the physiological maturity. In addition, to check the association between the performance and other variables evaluated, the linear correlation coefficient was used. The results showed that of the 50 selected soybean genotypes of the variety INIAP 307; five of them were the best for their outstanding agronomic characteristics such as: flowering days 44 and harvest 90; number of tender pods / plant 156 to 190; weight of pods in the tender state 311 to 340 g; average yield of pods 12411-14185 kg / ha; height of plant to crop 50 to 65 cm and 7 branch / plant; a consequence that becomes promising for the importance of pig farming and poultry farming in the region through the introduction of new cultivars such as soy, which is high in protein. Correlation showed a significant positive association between the variables evaluated; demonstrating that the performance was increased depending on its performance components.
