Riassunto:Digital books have been increasingly popular in recent years with the teaching and practice of English as a second language offered by these technological resources within a digital platform, and in which students have been motivated to improve their listening skills through different easy-to-use educational tools, which is why teachers have used this type of practices more frequently to raise the level of their students and have a better listening comprehension of written text or interactive narratives provided in class. For this reason, this research had the objective of identifying the potential advantages and barriers that teachers face when putting into practice their teaching students who are currently studying at the level of higher basic education in the "Unidad Educativa Americano". For this research, the qualitative method was applied to obtain the results through a group interview with the teachers of the English subject in person with open questions. The results showed that there are many advantages over the limitations that exist in the classroom, however, it is important to mention that there are challenges faced by teachers with students who have not yet raised their level of learning by learning in a traditional way with written texts without the use of technology and the lack of adequate resources provided by the educational institution for teaching.
