La inteligencia naturalista es una competencia que permite conocer mejor el entorno que nos rodea, mediante la exploración basada en el interés y entusiasmo que quien desea ampliar sus conocimientos, aprovechando toda oportunidad que se le presente para observar, analizar, interactuar con las plantas, animales y objetos puede promover su cuidado y protección. Permite que la persona que tiene mayormente desarrollada esta inteligencia busque estrategias para comprender las características, funciones y el actuar de cada ser.
