Итог:The purpose of this thesis is to propose a teaching - learning process of the subject of Education for Citizenship in the Social Sciences area of the Third Year of Baccalaureate, developing didactic strategies that improve and promote learning. This proposal is divided into two parts: the first part consists of the theoretical foundation where concepts related to Education for Citizenship and discussion techniques that help to develop a critical consciousness are studied. The second part consists of six didactic strategies addressed from the curricular blocks of the Third year of Baccalaureate to work in a group, individual and playful way with the student. With the data obtained by the CINAJ group Center for Research on Children, Adolescents and Youth) of the Salesian Polytechnic University on "Good Christians and Honest Citizens": Changes and Sociocultural Transformations and Challenges to the formation of young people in Ecuador carried out in the year 2015, results were obtained from the research that addressed situations to problems that exist in society with the educational reality. We can say that adequate training is reflecting on the pedagogical knowledge that students have, favoring the improvement of the teaching-learning process
