要約:The following thesis explores the communication and differences between urban tribes, as well as conflict between Hip-Hip collectives in the North and South of Quito. We will begin with exploring various theories of communication, understood along with interaction, development, and culture. In this way, we set the stage to contemplate the issue of urban tribes, differentiating between urban culture, tribes, and movement. We will begin with the Hip-Hop movement, which we will study from a historical context taking us to the Zulu nation. Various theories of conflict will be contemplated, as well as the resolution of conflict, abstinence from conflict, and privatization of conflict. The targeting of youth in urban tribes in Quito and the scene of urban tribes can be understood proceeding from the ideology that every collective possesses elements of Hip-Hop and graffiti. In studying the second, we will observe it from the perspective of an iconic and visual art, territorial posturing, and the survival of illegal graffiti as a form of progress and artistic production.
