Résumé:Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) sometimes frequent difficulties exporting to foreign markets for various reasons such as lack of resources and financial expertise, breach of regulatory requirements, or produce in quantities or quality that unfit for foreign buyers requirements, among others. However, often, these problems can be overcome through cooperation among SMEs. As it is through the creation of an export consortium that allows combining knowledge, financial resources and contacts, significantly improving their export potential and reduce the costs and risks involved in entering international markets. Taken this model as proposed design aims constitute a consortium of export promotion straw hat for Canton Montecristi´s artisans, so that when applied, members comply their skills and strengths that allow them to be more competitive, improve their productivity and more profitable. And promote through a common brand to straw hat, the same that was not always related to our country which one represents a major crafts exported by Ecuador.
