Résumé:This project main to obtain the degree of Civil Engineering has importance in the research part of the present method of design of flexible pavements “Guide mechanistic – empirical pavement design AASHTO 2008” and that still it is not considered in the manuals of public and private institutions. Comparing with “Guide pavement design AASHTO 93” from the point of view of stresses, deformations in the structural performance that comprises each layer in the structure of the pavement and economic point of view. Taking into account the characteristics of the variables of each method that influences the traffic as it is that load equivalency factors and spectrum of load, in the climate precipitation, temperature, moisture, wind speed, and the materials to know their structural and mechanical characteristics. Making a comparison to evaluate and analyze behavioral responses according to criteria established by the rules that govern us.
