Resumo:The purpose of this project is to reduce the volume of data transmitted using the line code algorithms and data compression also contribute to the development of a prototype that will take its spectrum when using the line code B6ZS. To measure the size of transmitted data based transmission of encoded signal and the Agilent oscilloscope band found in Advanced Communications Laboratory was used, this oscilloscope has properties to measure the spectrum of the signal directly. The results obtained by transmitting the signal in base band signal encoded, for which it took into account the parameters of speed and distance between transmitter and receiver, additional times bit between 1L and 0L were varied within the implemented algorithm were analyzed. The tests were based on varying the distance of 1 to 9 cm, at a constant speed, also a constant distance of 4 cm is maintained since it is the distance in which the prototype is stable and the speed is varied. The data size of data volume in both transmissions were compared and it was determined that the application of B6ZS code and application algorithm RLE compression reduces the volume of data transmitted 62.4% at 1200 baud, 39.05% at 9600 baud and 50.45% of 4 cm distance with respect to the baseband transmission.
