Dicha investigación fue realizada en el Colegio Agropecuario Jorge Martínez Acosta, ubicado en la ciudad de San Gabriel, provincia del Carchi a una altura de 2860 msnm. Los factores en estudio fueron. Fertilizantes foliares; f1 fertigro 8-24-0, Humifert, Basf foliar algae; las dosis en estudio fueron; d1 baja 7.5 ml/litro, d2 media 10ml/litro, d3 alta 12.5 ml/ litro para el cultivo de arveja (Pisum sativum).
