Agregar Etiqueta | Sumario: | The present research contains a study on the redirecting of two schools in the Valle de los Chillos, in La Merced, the small schools "Golda Meir" and "Juan Genaro Fierro", this change generated that all the students go to new institutions. This investigation performed is reflected in the documentary video titled School Relocation which shows the impact of the closure on the whole neighborhood and especially on the girls and boys who studied in these educational institutions, since their new educational habits have had influence in their lives. This research clearly shows the people's dissatisfaction with this decision, the complications in the education of their children, the lack of organization of the local people, the impact they had in a rural area of the city; and the denial of Children facing their cultural and urban knowledge. |
