The experimental research was developed through testing in the laboratory of the Salesian Polytechnic University, for a period of 15 days, in a sample of two induction cookers. Additionally, tests the same that was installed in 3 different residential houses in different parts of the city of Quito were performed with other induction cooker for 3 days. This research work includes the description of the elements used for testing and for the acquisition of data and procedures. The input and output variables were recorded using a power quality analyzer. The test results were analyzed and refined and graphically presented and comparative tables that identify the performance of induction cookers against voltage variations. In the work includes analytical and graphical comparison of the effects of voltage variation in induction cooker sample with those technical literature presents for electric cookers and induction motors Finally conclusions and recommendations |

In the work includes analytical and graphical comparison of the effects of voltage variation in induction cooker sample with those technical literature presents for electric cookers and induction motors Finally conclusions and recommendationsEn este trabajo se presenta los resultados de una investigación experimental sobre los efectos que tendrán las variaciones de voltaje en el desempeño de las cocinas de inducción que se comercializarán en el país, Inicialmente se presenta los conceptos y principios básicos de operación de la cocina de inducción; así como también se muestra en forma sintetizada las características generales del plan de incorporación de las cocinas de inducción en los hogares de la población ecuatoriana, resaltando los elementos más importantes. La investigación experimental se desarrolló mediante pruebas realizadas en el laboratorio de la Universidad Politécnica Salesiana, durante un período de 15 días, en una muestra de dos cocinas de inducción. Adicionalmente se realizaron pruebas con otra cocina de inducción durante 3 días la misma que fue instalada en 3 diferentes viviendas residenciales de diferentes sectores de la ciudad de Quito. El presente trabajo de investigación incluye la descripción de los elementos utilizados para las pruebas y para la adquisición de los datos y sus procedimientos. Las variables de entrada y salida fueron registradas mediante un analizador de calidad de energía. Los resultados de las pruebas fueron analizados y depurados y se presenta forma gráfica y en tablas comparativas que permiten identificar el desempeño de las cocinas de inducción frente a las variaciones de voltaje. En el trabajo se incluye la comparación analítica y gráfica de los efectos de la variación de voltaje en la cocina de inducción de la muestra, con aquellos que la literatura técnica presenta para las cocinas eléctricas y para los motores de inducción.
