El tatuaje y la construcción identitaria en los jóvenes quiteños :¿Resistencia o moda?

Tattooing is an atavistic practice that‟s normalized in today's society. An art that draws strokes with the aid of a needle and blood on a skin canvas. But: What is the value of a tattoo for those who wear it? The value of tattooing in young people in the present research lies in two aspects: Emotional value and communicative value, analyzed from the perspective of the art historian Martín Soria: For a young man tattooed, the image that is imprinted in its being symbolizes a struggle or resistance that connects your identity with a subjective necessity to become an artist, as Joseph Beuys ratifies, this differentiates it before the others like an inimitable being whose art will transcend in time, expressing the same language, stories and memories that have been marked in the identity that each tattooed young man has been building. Additionally, I conclude that the world of tattooing is just a showcase to show a movie with an omnipresent narrator that tells real stories, but whose plot, only the writer who wrote the story knows, in this case, the tattooed young man who portrays his art and a story on his skin.
