Análisis, diseño, desarrollo e implementación de un comparador de precios de operaciones económicas para la Superintendencia de Control del Poder de Mercado

This project aims to incorporate the usage of new technologies in the Control of Market Power Superintendence (SCPM) in order to prevent speculation of commodity prices. In order to achieve this, a mobile application will be developed in order to compare prices of products that are offered by supermarkets and stores nationwide. Additionally, the application will include the development of a web application whose main purpose is to manage price information for products traders. This document comprises three chapters, distributed and arranged in a logical and sequential manner, aimed to provide the reader with an easy understanding of the central topic. The contents of each chapter are briefly described as follows: The first chapter provides the institutional framework of the Control of Market Power Superintendence, its objectives and mission and vision statements. The theoretical framework used as a basis to develop the technological project is described. The second chapter makes a reference to the analysis of the requirements requested by the SCPM, also the design of the application is detailed. The third chapter encompasses the documentation concerning coding, architecture and testing of the application developed. Finally, the main conclusions related to the research and suggested recommendations on the subject are presented.
