| description | This project aims to incorporate the usage of new technologies in the Control of Market Power Superintendence (SCPM) in order to prevent speculation of commodity prices. In order to achieve this, a mobile application will be developed in order to compare prices of products that are offered by supermarkets and stores nationwide. Additionally, the application will include the development of a web application whose main purpose is to manage price information for products traders. This document comprises three chapters, distributed and arranged in a logical and sequential manner, aimed to provide the reader with an easy understanding of the central topic. The contents of each chapter are briefly described as follows: The first chapter provides the institutional framework of the Control of Market Power Superintendence, its objectives and mission and vision statements. The theoretical framework used as a basis to develop the technological project is described. The second chapter makes a reference to the analysis of the requirements requested by the SCPM, also the design of the application is detailed. The third chapter encompasses the documentation concerning coding, architecture and testing of the application developed. Finally, the main conclusions related to the research and suggested recommendations on the subject are presented. |

Finally, the main conclusions related to the research and suggested recommendations on the subject are presented.El presente proyecto de titulación pretende incorporar la utilización de nuevas tecnologías en la Superintendencia de Control de Poder de Mercado (SCPM) con el fin de evitar la especulación de los precios de los productos. Para esto se desarrollará una aplicación móvil con la finalidad de comparar los precios de los productos que son ofertados por los supermercados y tiendas a nivel nacional. Adicionalmente se incluye el desarrollo de una aplicación web cuyo propósito principal es gestionar la información de los precios de los productos de los operadores económicos. El presente documento consta de tres capítulos, distribuidos y ordenados de una manera lógica y secuencial, con el fin de proporcionar al lector una fácil comprensión del tema central. A continuación, se describe brevemente el contenido de cada uno de ellos: El primer capítulo contempla, el Marco Institucional de la Superintendencia de Control de Poder de Mercado, sus objetivos y razón de ser. De la misma manera se describe el sustento teórico utilizado para el desarrollo del proyecto tecnológico. En el segundo capítulo se hace referencia al análisis de los requerimientos solicitados por la SCPM también se detalla el diseño de la aplicación. El tercer capítulo contiene la documentación referente a la codificación, arquitectura y pruebas de la aplicación desarrollada.
