This thesis is based on an exhausted literature investigation which is complemented by a field research on the issue posed. It includes nine interviews to experts on each field involved in the development of Ecuadorian children's literature, among those enrolled: public and private institutions, publishers, writers, educators and civil society. In addition, a questionnaire on lecture interests was applied to 120 students in the primary section of La Salle High School – Conocoto. |

Esta tesis se fundamenta en una exhaustiva investigación bibliográfica, la cual se complementa con una investigación de campo sobre el tema planteado. Se incluyen 9 entrevistas a especialistas de cada ámbito que interviene en el desarrollo de la literatura infantil ecuatoriana, entre los que se inscriben: instituciones públicas y privadas, editores, escritores, educadores y sociedad civil.
