Summary:This paper presents didactic strategies to promote orality in the second grade of Basic General Education. The guidelines of the National Educational Curriculum are based on the conventions of oral communication, the use of nonverbal expressions and the management of resources to accompany oral expression. The elements are reflected from the theoretical foundations of psychogenesis, which considers the person as a social being that relates to their environment from birth and from that generates learning. With these bases, didactic strategies are conceived as mediators of the teaching - learning process, which motivate the development of autonomy, comprehension, listening, attention, criticality, expression and word management. The paper is organized in three parts: the first that presents the theoretical basis, the second that presents the proposal as a didactic strategy and the last part that exposes the conclusions.
