Este trabajo investigativo estudia las principales habilidades del pensamiento crítico como la interpretación, la inferencia, el análisis, la autorregulación, la explicación y la evaluación, aspirando a constituirse en un material introductorio para el mejoramiento del quehacer educativo; ya que los estudiantes que ingresan a la educación media presentan serias dificultades en cuanto al manejo de la habilidades básicas del pensamiento para aspirar al éxito académico y existencial.
