The incorrect designation of State resources and the lack of planning with regard to public health not only resulted in problems in the health service but which also affects society. One of the health problems that has most excelled in recent years has been little attention on family planning which worsened the rates of pregnancies at early age and the increase in sexually transmitted infections. “Habla Serio, sexualidad sin misterios¨ is a State strategy of the Ministry of Public Health of the Ecuador that since 2011 aims to solve these problems. The purpose of the strategy is the reduced rates of pregnancy and infections in young adolescents. However, it is necessary that there is a greater focus and emphases on specific sectors to ensure greater reach and above all greater accessibility of information. |
