One of the health problems that has most excelled in recent years has been little attention on family planning which worsened the rates of pregnancies at early age and the increase in sexually transmitted infections. “Habla Serio, sexualidad sin misterios¨ is a State strategy of the Ministry of Public Health of the Ecuador that since 2011 aims to solve these problems. The purpose of the strategy is the reduced rates of pregnancy and infections in young adolescents. However, it is necessary that there is a greater focus and emphases on specific sectors to ensure greater reach and above all greater accessibility of information. |

La incorrecta designación de recursos estatales y la carencia en planificación con respecto a salud pública desembocó no solo en problemas en el servicio salud sino también que repercute en la sociedad. Uno de los problemas de salud que más ha sobresalido en los últimos años ha sido la poca atención en planificación familiar que agravó los índices de embarazos a temprana edad y el aumento de infecciones de transmisión sexual. “Habla Serio, sexualidad sin misterios¨ es una estrategia estatal del Ministerio de Salud Pública del Ecuador que desde 2011 se orienta a solucionar dichos problemas. La finalidad de la estrategia es la de reducir los índices de embarazos y de infecciones en los jóvenes adolescentes.
