| Gaia: | Today, companies in the retail and service sector face the constant challenge of improving processes in order to keep up with constant evolution. This research focuses on providing guidance to companies in the retail and service sector with a specific focus on the sale of motorbikes and accessories. It also provides guidance for the purpose of developing a comprehensive improvement proposal for business value chain processes. This improvement proposal for the commercial value chain processes of these companies. They include the detailed identification of current activities in the areas of shop sales, invoicing and vehicle delivery, the design of improvements to measure their impact on customer satisfaction, operational efficiency and financial results, and the implementation of practices that speed up the sales process and improve service quality. This work emphasises operational efficiency through digital transformation and process automation, facilitating the practical execution of valuable activities and improving departmental performance and productivity. Sales and billing systems generate significant delays by 32%. The study offers a clear vision of the sales processes in physical motorbike shops, highlighting the identification of unnecessary times that affect the profitability and economic resources of the companies. Through continuous improvement methodologies and cause-effect analysis, it is planned to significantly reduce defects and establish control charts to guarantee high quality products. The comparison between the current situation (AS-IS) and the future situation (TOBE) will serve to evaluate the implemented improvements in a clear and effective way |
