Diseño de la migración de la red de última milla a GPON del GRUPO TVCABLE del nodo 2A - Bellavista

In the present work of titling realized a study and design of the last mile data network HFC in Bellavista sector of Quito of the TV CABLE Group for its migration to GPON technology. To achieve this objective, realized a study of the specifications, characteristics and equipment of the current HFC network in node 2A of the sector under study. The main achievement of the research is the design of the last mile of the HFC network node 2A of the Bellavista sector with GPON technology achieving an economically feasible proposal that allows the group to generate higher earnings and increase customer satisfaction by improving the connection speed and signal quality. The present project to have a better organization of the information consists of five chapters. The first one reflects the approach of the problem, after presenting the theoretical framework elaborated on the most recent information on GPON network technologies, in the third of the current HFC network of the TV CABLE Group, with the information supplied by the company. The design of the migration of the last mile of the network of node 2A of the Bellavista in the city of Quito a technology GPON and finally the financial analysis of the feasibility of the investment.
