description	This degree project, describes the process that is taking place in the career of Systems Engineering headquarters in Quito, with regard to internships, currently this procedure it is managed manually. Therefore, this project presents a solution to automate. The main objective of the project has been to design a system that permits to teachers in the career of Systems Engineering, managing the process of internships in an automated way, has been developed for this two modules one of visit and another for final validation which will allow controlling the process through a workflow. The system developed called ”System of internships and pre-professional practices(SPPP)” is a Web application that has been implemented using tools and platforms of free software, is designed for students, teachers and administrative staff of the race, the same that may interact within the process depending on how to move the flow of work. Below, shows the development of the system in a sequential manner starting with the requirements analysis, design, construction and testing, ending with the implementation of the same.

Below, shows the development of the system in a sequential manner starting with the requirements analysis, design, construction and testing, ending with the implementation of the same.Este proyecto de titulación, describe el proceso que se está llevando a cabo en la carrera de Ingeniería de Sistemas Sede Quito con lo que respecta a pasantías, actualmente dicho procedimiento se lo maneja de forma manual. Por lo tanto, en este proyecto se presenta una solución para automatizarlo. El objetivo principal del proyecto ha sido diseñar un sistema que permita a los docentes de la carrera de Ingeniería de Sistemas, manejar el proceso de pasantías de una manera automatizada, para ello se ha desarrollado dos módulos uno de visita y otro de validación final, los que permitirán controlar el proceso mediante un flujo de trabajo. El sistema desarrollado denominado ”Sistema de pasantías y prácticas pre profesionales(SPPP)” es una aplicación Web que ha sido implementada usando herramientas y plataformas de software libre, está orientado para estudiantes, docentes y personal administrativo de la carrera, los mismos que podrán interactuár dentro del proceso dependiendo como vaya avanzando el flujo de trabajo.
