إضافة وسم | الملخص: | This paper try to show how to do investigative journalism in Ecuador, taking as case studies El Telégrafo daily (public media) and Vanguardia magazine (private media), two media of different nature that, in due time, they positioned themselves as the champions of investigative journalism, doing complaints that sounded uncomfortable for the government and the opposition. In the first chapter present the concepts of communication, media, journalism and power, in order to understand the role of journalism in a democratic society as a mechanism of countervauling, as a guardian of democracy. From this perspective, it to do a historical reference of the origins and characteristics of investigative journalism in the United States, Latin America and Ecuador. |
