The field research facilitated the collection of information from the point of view of the actors of the educational institution, helping the analysis. The results show that the conservation of Kichwa language in the educational institution "Belén 15 de Julio" is high, in addition a high percentage of the population conserve and speak fluently the Kichwa language, that is to say that in the community the mother tongue is still alive despite of the continuous use of the Castilian language by young people. |

La investigación está basada en la revisión bibliográfica, la cual permite profundizar las teorías relacionadas al tema del caso. La investigación de campo facilitó la recopilación de la información desde el punto de vista de los actores de la institución educativa, ayudando al análisis.
