description Process management has been investigated since the developed theory of division of work in the Industrial Revolution in the nineteenth century. This theory is based on authors such as Smith, Fayol, Taylor and Weber, with a new focus on managing both resources and human talent. The result of this new focus was the standardization of processes in any kind of organizations, in order to achieve more efficiency in the delivery of products or services and reducing the employees’ workload. The management of human talent becomes important to be responsible and indispensable to the success of the organization. The term of human resources is far from the classical definition in relation with man-machine, nowadays the importance is given to people as intelligent activators of organizational resources, implementers of organizational achievements and to be considered as members of the organization goals. In the “Casa Inspectorial Salesiana” the Human Resource Management Department is considered as new, so there isn´t management process developed. Therefore, is proposed this administrative processes manual. It has the objective to be a tool that should be applicate for the benefit of employees of the organization to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the processes of human talent management, allowing a better organizing and cohesion of processes for employee’s development. The results of this administrative processes manual of Human Resource Management are: map, inventory and characterization of processes in the “Casa Inspectorial Salesiana”, documenting the process of Human Resource Management: recruitment, selection, hiring, induction, training, organizational development, performance evaluation, compensation and benefits; sub processes: organizational climate, position rating, payroll, position analysis, job accidents and incidents, occupational health examinations; and policies: salary, occupational health and safety and emergency plan. Also, formats that will improve the efficiency and effectiveness in implementing Human Resource Management process at the “Casa Inspectorial Salesiana.

Basada en autores como Smith, Fayol, Taylor y Weber, con un nuevo enfoque acerca de la administración tanto de recursos como de talento humano, se da lugar a la estandarización de procesos dentro de las organizaciones, con el fin de lograr más eficiencia en la entrega de bienes o servicios y permitiendo disminuir la carga de trabajo a los colaboradores. La gestión de talento humano adquiere importancia al ser responsable e indispensable para el éxito de la organización, es así que el término, recurso humano, dista de la definición clásica del hombre-máquina y se da la importancia a las personas como activadores inteligentes de los recursos y ejecutores de los logros y metas organizacionales. En la Casa Inspectorial Salesiana el departamento de Gestión de Talento Humano es considerado como nuevo, por lo que no existe un manejo de gestión por procesos. Por lo anterior se propone el presente manual de procesos administrativos, que tiene como objetivo ser una herramienta de aplicación en beneficio de los colaboradores de la Organización para el mejoramiento de la eficacia y eficiencia de los procesos de gestión de talento humano, permitiendo tener una mejor organización de los mismos y la cohesión de los procesos para el desarrollo del personal. Los resultados obtenidos de este manual de procesos administrativos de Gestión de Talento Humano son: mapa, inventario y caracterización de los macroprocesos en la Casa Inspectorial Salesiana, documentación de los procesos de Gestión de Talento Humano: reclutamiento, selección, contratación, inducción, capacitación, desarrollo organizacional, evaluación de desempeño, compensación y beneficios; subprocesos de: clima laboral, valoración de puestos, nómina, análisis de puesto, accidentes e incidentes de trabajo, exámenes ocupacionales; y las políticas: salarial, seguridad y salud ocupacional y un plan de emergencia.
