In this academic article, two different software-testing tools were compared with the same program, both in a web and mobile environment. The following software testing tools were: Selenium Web Driver and HP UFT for web pages, Appium and HPE MOBILE CENTER for mobile testing. The comparison was done taking into consideration the advantages and disadvantages that each one has over the other one and providing a graphical representation of all the results between each tool. |

The comparison was done taking into consideration the advantages and disadvantages that each one has over the other one and providing a graphical representation of all the results between each tool.Debido al gran número de cambios que se pueden dar durante toda la etapa de desarrollo del software, es necesario optimizar los tiempos de pruebas, para ello se debe conocer las estrategias de automatización de software y seleccionar cuál es la más adecuada dependiendo de la complejidad del programa, si es un software en su estado inicial o en su estado final; después se elige la herramienta o herramientas con las que se evalúa dicho software. En este artículo académico se realizó la comparación de dos herramientas de pruebas a un mismo software tanto para web y para móvil. Las herramientas fueron Selenium Web Driver y HP UFT para páginas web y Appium y HPE MOBILE CENTER para pruebas móviles.
