Shrnutí:The steady growth of energy demand around the world has become a problem for power systems. Therefore, the interaction between water systems and Smart grids (SG) has been further developed, and together with the help of computer tools, they can provide ancillary services through different demand response (DR) programs addressed to customers Connected to the network. Therefore, the present work aims to optimize DR based on energy prices in the wholesale market, with real-time and short-term operations. For this purpose, an optimization model is presented, with the objective of encouraging the customer to respond to the demand for your benefit and that of the power system. To solve the problem, the interaction of energy from small-scale water systems and traditional systems was applied, which would generate attractive price signals due to the difference in generation costs between systems. A linear programming algorithm was performed that minimized energy costs. The result indicates that the interaction of the two systems in a real time is able to provide ancillary services to the system and provide benefits to the client through DR programs.
