Diseño e implementación de un sistema informático para el manejo de inventarios de la Distribuidora "Mateo"

This document contains all the information related to the creation of a system for the management of inventories. The background of the problem of inventory control is shown and the proposed solution is justified, and the creation of the system for which the cascade development methodology was used is detailed. With the help of database diagrams, use cases, sequence and interface prototypes, the solution was designed. Subsequently, it is mentioned how each of the aforementioned components were integrated to result in the system. This project focuses on the development of an inventory system for the distributor "Mateo". Inventory management has been carried out manually, which worked correctly until the results obtained were not the best. Due to the sales growth of the distributor and after conducting a study has seen the need to automate the process of inventory management. This will be done in order to optimize this process, which will result in having an adequate control of the products that the distributor has, keeping the stock updated and timely information when required to use. In this way the manager will have a broader perspective to make decisions that are beneficial to the distributor.
