Summary:It is essential for every food processing industry to comply with good manufacturing practices. At present, all companies in this sector must comply with all the standards contained in this regulation in order to be able to continue operations and therefore to continue offering its products. This project is about the design for the automation of the syrup room aiming at complying with the current regulations so that the Orangine company may continue working on the Ecuadorian market. A characterization of the syrup room will be done as a basis for the automation; at the same time there will be a risk assessment including problems and its possible solutions. A detailed engineering will also be carried out aiming at the setting up of the project, including physical, electrical and electronic diagrams of the design that will be presented at the end of the job. The total cost of the project and an analysis of the possible solutions that the automation can provide to the company will also be contained in this report.
