Add Tag | Summary: | This project was aimed Degree Validation of a microbiological method for the analysis of total and fecal coliforms, in clear water and wastewater, for the Centro de Investigaciones y Control Ambiental (CICAM) of the Escuela Politécnica Nacional in Quito . At work, was carried out validation method Most Probable Number (MPN) using Brilliant Green Broth three test tubes per dilution. The selection and validation of the analytical method was performed in approximately 12 months. During the validation process tests were conducted to evaluate the parameters of accuracy, precision and uncertainty of selected techniques, the methodology was carried out with standard laboratory prepared with a known number of microorganisms, in the same way for high range wastewater was taken as standard Machángara river water, collecting periodic samples for analysis. |
