Sumario:A large part of the studies that have been carried out on non-ionizing radiation (NIR) are focused on cell phone bases stations, open television or other frequency bands, which constitute a starting point for the development of the present work of titling, which focuses on the realization of the analysis of the electromagnetic fields produced by the transmitting FM broadcasting antennas in the city of Quito, which is one of the main cities in the country and the second most populated, therefore there is a greater number of people exposed to radiation and a high level of ignorance of compliance with standards. Therefore, the study is oriented to make measurements of the radiant systems of the parent stations located in Cerro Pichincha in different strategic points of the city, to verify compliance with the limits established in the NIR Emissions Protection Regulations for power density, electric field strength and magnetic field strength. Additionally, the simulation of each of the stations will be performed to obtain theoretical values under ideal conditions, which will then be compared with the measurements made.
