Summary:The present research, seeks to recognize the importance of psychological and social factors related to violence and drug dependence. It was carried out through the stories of women who are currently in a rehabilitation process and who in the past went through these problems. In this context, sensitive topics are addressed, in addition to analyzing how this problem affects all areas of their lives, both personally and socially, and the tools they used to break the cycle of violence and remain in recovery. This research was developed under a qualitative approach, using semi-structured interviews to collect data obtained through the narratives of the participants. Likewise, through phenomenological analysis, how they perceived these situations of abuse by their former partners and their relationship with drug addiction was explored. The results allowed a deeper understanding of these issues and how they affect their physical, mental and emotional integrity
