Tabacundo - Ecuador – 2010; was conducted in order to determine the best method to induce activation of dormant buds of the basal area. The factors studied were: • Chemical mechanical method in the vendela variety. Scratch (cut) the basal area with a saw blade smeared hormone (cytokinin). • Mechanical method in the vendela variety. Health cleanings, (Paloteo, cleaning the basal area) • Physical method in the vendela variety. Perform padding (warm) to the basal fiber of oil palm. • Physical method more nutrition organic in the vendela variety. |
