This inquiry has been made possible only through a conjunction between Andean theory and Western theory, a conjunction that insists on attending to and understanding the Andean parity of knowledge captured in the expression “Sensitivity is another form of knowing the world.” This acknowledgment is present in scarce but important Western theories that uphold this proposal. The parity-based conjugation of feeling—more Andean—and reason—more Western—is the theoretical basis from which this investigation is carried out, in the intention of using theoretical instruments that better comprehend a non-Western reality. |
