Crynodeb:Distribution Systems (SD) are a fundamental part of the Power Electrical System (SEP), because they are interconnect the transmission with the final consumers, for this reason the continuity of the service is important, to reduce the Energy Not Supplied (ENS) and improve the quality of the service with this provides greater efficiency to the consumers network. The interruptions of SD can be programmed by maintenance and also unscheduled, which are due to failures. The failures are abrupt interruptions of supply, therefore the location of faults must be exact, to reduce the time of interruption of supply, one of the determining factors in improving the quality of SD is implementation of generators closest to the loads, called Distributed Generation (GD) whose implementation causes effects on the power flow of SD. This work proposes a methodology based on the impedance of the line, using values of voltage and current in pre and post failure. measured from the transformation substation as well as in the GD, the methodology will be applied to the main trunk of the IEEE system. 34 nodes, simulating four types of faults, single-phase, biphasic, biphasic earth, three-phase, with two different fault resistors, 20 Ohms and 40 Ohms, in two cases, the first case contemplates the implementation of GD at node 816, Second case contemplates the implementation of GD in nodes 816 and 826. The results of the modeling allow to analyze the variations when locating faults with the implementation of the DG.
