Diseño de una familia de mobiliario para mejorar las facilidades turísticas en las áreas de descanso en la Hacienda Suruyacu en la provincia del Napo.

This thesis project focuses on Hacienda Suruyacu, located in the province of Napo, which is dedicated to livestock farming and tourism activities. Despite its tourism potential, the hacienda faces the lack of adequate furniture for rest areas and other spaces intended for visitors. The main goal of this project is to design furniture that not only enhances the tourist experience but also adapts to the conditions of the Andean environment, with a sustainable approach. The furniture design includes functional elements and is aesthetically integrated with the local identity, using local and sustainable materials. This project aims to improve the quality of the visitor experience at the hacienda by providing comfortable spaces that encourage social interaction and rest in a natural setting. Through a participatory approach, the project seeks to understand the specific needs of users, both tourists and staff at the hacienda, to create furniture solutions that contribute to local economic development and the growth of regional tourism. Furthermore, the implementation of modular designs will optimize space usage, and the materials used will reflect a commitment to sustainability and respect for the natural environment. The project not only aims to improve the hacienda's facilities but also to raise awareness about the importance of sustainable design and the integration of the natural environment into the tourist experience, thus promoting the development of responsible tourism that is committed to environmental conservation.
