| الملخص: | Rural parks are important because they promote environmental education and foster appreciation and respect for nature. These parks play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life in rural areas by providing opportunities for recreation and tourism. In the case of Sucre Parish, Patate Canton, Ecuador, one of the main issues is the lack of green spaces and parks in the urban area, which led to the objective of developing a network of parks. The research method used was mixed, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches. It involved qualitatively evaluating aspects such as location conditions, considering factors like accessibility, facilities, and convenience, and quantifying the comfort level through surveys addressing aspects such as furniture, lighting, and overall comfort of the space. Based on the results of this approach, the strengths of each type of analysis can be identified by integrating qualitative and quantitative data from different phases of the study. With these results, the proposal's outcome was achieved, focusing on the impact and significance for the project's initiative. Mobility, care, and use of the environment are action focuses, allowing the implementation of urban design strategies adapted to the parish. This approach aims to resist and adapt to the impacts of climate change, taking into consideration the local flora and fauna to promote resilience and mitigate adverse environmental effects. Moreover, it complements the use of characteristic materials of the parish, preserving its identity, and providing a multifunctional leisure space tailored to the community's needs |
