Riassunto:This project focuses on designing an ergonomic and technological device for visually impaired swimmers, specifically developed for “Club Paralympic Fenix”. The initiative addresses the need for a solution that enhances swimmers' independence, safety, and confidence, enabling them to enjoy adaptive swimming with autonomy. It responds to the lack of inclusive tools for optimal and safe performance in the water, aligning with accessibility and equity principles in sports. The methodology used, Biomimicry Thinking, draws inspiration from nature to develop innovative and sustainable solutions. An environment analysis was conducted, and the target group’s needs were observed, creating functional prototypes validated through usability testing. Results showed that the proposed device significantly improved orientation and control in the water, aiding navigation without compromising swimmer autonomy. The device is lightweight, waterproof, and user-friendly, incorporating sensory technology to intuitively alert and guide the swimmer. Its implementation at “Club Paralympic Fenix” is expected to improve athletes' quality of life, providing them with tools for sports integration. This will contribute to greater social and athletic inclusion, enhancing swimmers' development and active participation in the community
