| Yhteenveto: | The Atahualpa Educational Unit, located in the rural parish of the same name, is a public institution founded in 1976, provides education to children and adolescents in the town and nearby sectors, consists of the levels of initial education, basic general education, middle, higher and high school, in addition to having 4 technical specialties. This project proposes the creation of a 2D animated short film to strengthen the historical memory and institutional identity of the Atahualpa Educational Unit. Ignorance of the history of educational institutions is a problem that can negatively affect students' sense of belonging. Through an attractive and accessible visual narrative, the animation seeks to rescue and transmit key events, characters and values of the history of the institution. The methodology includes the use of the deductive method, with a mixed approach, and the application of documentary research, interviews with members of the institution, survey applied to students, and the design of a script adapted to the animated format. The final product aims to highlight the relevance of historical memory, as well as to encourage greater student engagement in their institutional environment. This project demonstrates how the use of creative tools can contribute to preserving the historical legacy of an institution in the school environment. |
